Dr. Klemens Grabmayer-Tellechea, MBA, is an accomplished leader with a diverse background in business and technology. He assumes the role of CEO at KOGA Energy to oversee company management and executive responsibilities across all departments.

Prior joining KOGA Energy, Klemens spent multiple years at a leading multinational in the energy and petrochemical sector, where he held pivotal roles in technology, product management, and business development. Over the course of his diverse career, which involved leading several global and regional teams, Klemens demonstrated his strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.

Klemens started his professional journey in academia as a senior researcher at Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, Austria. His research focused on the application of polymers in solar energy conversion technologies, encompassing both photovoltaic and solar-thermal end-use applications. His research was published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals, and awarded a doctoral degree from JKU Linz.

In addition to his doctoral degree in chemical engineering from JKU Linz, Klemens holds a master’s degree in Polymer Engineering and Science from Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria. His educational background is further enriched by a Global Executive MBA from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, and an Executive MBA from the Vienna University of Economics.
