The teams at KOGA Energy are involved in every stage of project development, starting from evaluating potential sites and securing optimal locations to initiating construction once all necessary permits and authorizations have been obtained.

The identification of potential sites and securing funding for project development takes place. In this phase, the creation of a rough technical concept and conducting pre-feasibility studies are carried out. The assessment of different technical options, cost/benefit analysis, permitting needs, and market assessment lay the foundation for the project development process. Subsequently, steps include the technical and financial evaluation of the preferred option, assessment of financing options, initiation of the permitting process, and determination of contracting strategy. The progression continues with the preparation of a detailed design for all relevant aspects, the development of a project implementation schedule, and the finalization of the permitting process. During the construction phase, activities such as construction supervision, commissioning, performance testing, and preparation of as-built design (if required) are undertaken to complete the project.
